Sustainability at Advance Apparel

At Advance Apparel, we recognize that the textile and apparel industry is one of the world’s largest contributors to environmental impact. Globally, fashion accounts for up to 10% of annual carbon emissions and is responsible for 20% of global wastewater production. From fabric sourcing and dyeing to packaging and distribution, every stage of the supply chain plays a role in shaping the planet’s future.

Our Commitment

We believe that high-quality apparel should not come at the expense of the environment. That’s why sustainability is at the heart of our business. By taking a proactive approach across design, manufacturing, and logistics, we aim to reduce our footprint while setting higher standards for the industry.

What We’re Doing

Reducing Plastic Waste: In 2024, we reduced plastic consumption across our operations by 90% and transitioned to packaging made from recycled materials. Our goal is to become 100% plastic-free by 2025. Responsible Manufacturing: Our in-house facility, now expanded to 80,000 sq ft, operates under certified processes including OEKO-TEX®, ensuring that no harmful substances are used in production. Energy Efficiency: We are continuously investing in modern machinery and smarter production methods to minimize energy usage and waste. Sustainable Materials: We are working to increase the use of recycled and responsibly sourced fabrics within our ranges, ensuring both quality and longevity. Distribution Improvements: By optimizing logistics and consolidating shipments, we actively reduce transportation emissions and promote efficient supply chain management.

Our Goals

Short-Term (2025–2027): Eliminate single-use plastics entirely by 2025. Increase the share of recycled or sustainable fabrics used across our product lines year on year. Further reduce carbon emissions from manufacturing and distribution through innovation and supply chain efficiency. Continue to invest in certifications and independent audits to provide transparency and accountability. Long-Term (2027 and beyond): Transition to carbon-neutral operations across all facilities by 2030, Develop a circular production model, with increased recycling and repurposing of textiles to reduce waste at end of life. Source a majority of our cotton and core fabrics from organic or regenerative agriculture. Invest in renewable energy across our global operations to significantly reduce reliance on non-renewable sources. Establish a transparent sustainability reporting framework, sharing measurable progress and challenges annually. Build partnerships with universities, research institutions, and NGOs to support innovation in sustainable textiles and fair labour practices.

Our Vision

Sustainability is not a trend — it is our responsibility. We are at the beginning of a long journey, but we are eager to act, adapt, and grow while keeping sustainability at the forefront of everything we do. At Advance Apparel, our ambition is not only to reduce harm but to create a positive impact — for our customers, our communities, and the planet. By partnering with clients and suppliers, we are proving that style, quality, and sustainability can truly go hand in hand.
